successful experiences takes more than taste. It takes creative judgment, systems thinking, clear communication, business fluency, and a real understanding of the people who rely on the work.
My experience runs across all of it. I’ve co-founded companies, written strategies, shaped requirements, built estimates, and led teams of designers and developers. I’ve worked with global brands, large agencies, startups, and boutiques. I’ve designed interfaces, products, environments, and systems. I’ve been the the consultant and the man on the ladder. The constant is simple: I love the work. I'm lucky to be a part of that, and I'm grateful every day.
The best organizations are where you'll find the best teams. I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the sharpest agencies, clients, strategists, designers, and developers in the business. That experience taught me great things are rarely accomplished alone.
AI has changed the shape of the work, and mostly for the better. It can be used to shape content. It can be used to validate design assumptions. There are downsides, too. It's made quality ideas harder to recognize at times. But I believe AI has made thinking more valuable. It can speed things up. It cannot replace competence.
That's where you'll find me. Between strategy and execution. Between the business need and the user need. Between the component and the code. I'm there in the thick of it. I care about craft, and craft is an endless pursuit.
