Over the years, I’ve worked with most of the major health systems in the region in some capacity. Premier is the largest Ortho practice in Delaware County, and almost all its appointment setting is completed through online forms. After partnering on the previous site, Premier asked me to work with them on the most recent release.

Research was conducted to optimize the forms system and reduce friction in various flows. Data is anonymized until accessed by a practice representative, yielding better HIPAA compliance. The project included the UI for a new mobile first Physician Finder tool; able to switch from location to specialty-based results that can be dynamically filtered after an initial search. Including persistent tabs throughout the site made finding a doctor or making an appointment much easier. This increased appointments by 24%. Analytics revealed that the most viewed content pages were blog content. We created formulas for crosslinking hundreds of detail pages to make the post UX more engaging. To date, the new site has increased overall traffic by roughly 27%. Future plans include making the site more accessible through better WCAG compliance.
