In 2020, I was asked to help the creators of Tailwind UI Kit (TUK) create a completely new product experience centered around the needs of front end developers. The effort included not just creating the brand from scratch, but designing everything from the original product interface to the color palette, visual identity, and the first set of components and templates. I’ve worked closely with developers for decades, but this was a fun opportunity to really see the world through their eyes. The end result of that collaboration was tens of thousands of customers, and a successful, sustainable new enterprise.
